Eagle Valley - official project launch

Slavsk officals attend project launch.

All politicians from the slavsk region and planning and tourist officers, plus local newspaper attended the Hanroc Developments Launch on March 21st, 2007 of the remarkable Eagle Valley project. A first for Ukraine, it is attracting a lot of interest.

Journalists from no less than 7 major UK National newspapers attended the reception too! They had the opportunity to quiz the assembled dignitaries on local development policy and the importance of Eagle Valley project.

A positive attitude to foreign investment was shown by the Ukrainian officials and they recognised the importance of the Eagle Valley project in bringing this largely unknown ski area to world attention.

Key points raised were:

• The existence of an official development plan which ensures adequate service provision
• The importance of Eagle Valley project in broadening the accommodation options in Slavsk
• Future developments in pipeline totalling $130 million
