Yaremche is a particularly picturesque town/resort located at the foot of a mountain. Surrounding the town is open countryside which is popular with cross country skiers. It is certainly no major ski resort yet, but due to its good mountain location and quality snowfall, it certainly has great potential which will almost certainly be realised soon.

The town/resort is particularly charming with its traditional wooden and mountain stone buildings. All of this is surrounded by thick pine forests and mountains. The area is has a number of deer plus other species, which makes the surrounding forests and mountains particularly popular for walking in all year round.
